As far as I understand most of those features will be added in the future at some point. Animals don't die, as far as I can tell they don't really have any social behaviors, there's no predation, and there is no risk of animals escaping. As such, there are many features that have yet to implemented. I like park builders more for the management of the park itself and less for the creative building, so I couldn't really care less about it.ĭespite all that, though, the game is still in early access. There is a modular building system which a large amount of people will love. Overall though the animals are extremely high quality and probably the best part. rex gets a JP style "roar" even though we know those animals couldn't roar like that). The animals are awesome with a few weird quirks (e.g. I played Early Access for about two hours so far. If there's interest, I can put together some screenshots for all the animals. It really makes them feel real and awe-inspiring. I also really like the sounds they selected for the animals. It can only go up from here with more animals and habitat parts. There's no need for staff yet, which was the main gripe in Planet Zoo that made me stop playing because staff priorities were so broken, and you can toggle off almost every feature in sandbox mode here anyway. With everything that Planet Zoo does well: lovingly rendered, lively animals, huge maps, enrichment, and the ability to make custom habitats as you like, from scratch, with parts. It's basically Planet Zoo, but with extinct animals. I'm eager to see where it goes, particularly once more building parts are added and the workshop launches. You can make some habitats and watch the animals. The park sim aspect seems to be almost entirely absent in this version. Incredibly impressed by the gorgeous models and animation. it's a perfect demo(alpha state) but hey it's free and the funny part is, that demo pretty much got the same (or even more in my opinion) content that mesozocia currently has.I've played it a little. They also got a tech demo on steam, it's a nice little demo. Since this year a monthly devlog about the development, which features, animations, sounds, concept art, 3d models and so on. Prehistoric Kingdom on the other hand, it's still in development but the devs are very open (they from time to time easily reveal new stuff on their discord). If you ask me mesozocia is a scam, just check the link someone else posted here. They also made numerous promises (both of social media and kickstarter) yet almost broken all of them.Īfter release they promised regular updates to fix stuff and add new content, yet for januari, the game hasn't recieved a update, but again promises of stuff coming ''soon'' despite claiming certain things like terraforming is done. game, so for 30 bucks you bought an early alpha state game and also very limited content. I was a an alpha tester, the game had numeruous bugs and they simply released an alpha build as E.A. Mesozoica is bad game from the start, a very toxic community (much of my early criticism about the lack of actual gameplay instead of the numerous skins and i got alot of hate from both devs and fanboys).
